Traditional tailgating is part of what makes college football special. It’s also a lot of work.

Someone has to find the location, arrive early and bring the tent, tables, chairs, TVs and coolers. Then somebody has to clean everything up.

Club Dawgwood was designed to make Georgia gameday easier. Our tailgate packages include setup and cleanup, allowing your group to spend its time actually enjoying the event.

For a company bringing 50 clients or an out-of-town group coming to Athens for one weekend, that can make a significant difference.

Bringing Clients or Guests From Out of Town?

A first Georgia gameday can come with a lot of questions: where everyone should meet, where to park, what time to arrive, where a large group can tailgate together, whether food can be arranged, how far the tailgate is from Sanford Stadium and what happens to everything when the group leaves for the game.

A private Club Dawgwood tailgate gives your group one central location and removes much of the work involved in organizing the pregame experience.

This can be especially helpful for companies hosting clients who are flying or driving into Athens and visiting fans who don’t already have an established tailgate on campus.

Food & Beverage Options

Corporate and private groups have flexibility when planning food and beverages. If your package does not include catering, guests may bring pre-prepared food. On-site cooking is not permitted.

Groups can also arrange catering through Club Dawgwood or coordinate with Athens-area caterers and restaurants.

Beverages, including alcoholic beverages for guests of legal drinking age, may be brought into your designated tailgate area in accordance with Club Dawgwood policies. Glass containers are not permitted.

Parking for Your Group

Club Dawgwood tailgate packages include at least one parking pass. Additional parking may be available as an add-on and should be arranged in advance because availability is limited and parking frequently sells out before gameday.
